Odesa Oblast is joining the "Side by Side" project and will restore three villages in Kherson Oblast. The head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper, announced this on his Telegram channel.

"Odesa region will become part of the "Side by Side" project. This is a project to help the regions of Ukraine restore the de-occupied communities affected by Russian aggression. Our neighboring Kherson region, as one of the most affected regions, will become a pilot site for the project.

Odesa Oblast has taken three villages under its patronage: Novodmytrivka, Kyselivka, and Blahodatne. All three settlements survived the Nazi occupation and were liberated by our heroes last fall. Before the full-scale war, about four and a half thousand people lived in the villages."

A total of 257 facilities are planned for restoration, including kindergartens, schools, medical facilities and residential buildings, Kiper said.

So far, 17 teams have been formed from Odesa region and are ready to start working, the official said.

"We build, we help, we win together!" - Kiper summarized.
