The water level in the cooling pond of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant remains stable despite the undermining of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant dam by the Russian occupiers. Recently, the water level in the canal has not undergone significant changes and no longer depends on the Kakhovka reservoir. This is reported by the Ukrainian National News Agency (UNN) with reference to the press service of the State Enterprise National Nuclear Energy Generating Company Energoatom.

"Despite the undermining of the Kakhovka HPP dam by Russian occupants, the situation remains stable and under control. As of 09:00 on June 27, the water level in the ZNPP cooling pond has not changed and is 16.58 meters. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant," the statement said.

It is reported that the water level in the canal of the thermal power plant, from which the ZNPP pond is fed if necessary, is 11.15 meters.

"It is worth noting that the water level in the canal has not changed recently, and its indicators no longer depend on the Kakhovka reservoir," the statement said.
