Ukraine has been granted the opportunity to export farm animals to Lebanon that are intended for slaughter. This is reported by the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, which informs about the approval of the form of a veterinary certificate between the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection and the Ministry of Agriculture of Lebanon.

This veterinary certificate for the export of sheep and goats from Ukraine to Lebanon is the third certificate agreed between the two countries. Earlier, the forms of certificates for the export of milk and dairy products, as well as cattle from Ukraine to Lebanon were already agreed upon.

The relevant certificate can be found on the official web portal of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in the section "International Cooperation" - "Veterinary and Safety" - "Certificates for Export from Ukraine".

In 2022, Ukraine opened 12 new markets for livestock products. This opening of the Lebanese market is another step forward for Ukrainian agricultural producers, opening up new opportunities for export expansion.

Exports of livestock to Lebanon will contribute to the development of Ukrainian agriculture and strengthen its position in the international market. Such steps help to increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian producers, stimulate the development of the agricultural sector and contribute to an increase in exports. Lebanon, as a new partner, can become an important market for Ukrainian farmers and entrepreneurs engaged in breeding and raising farm animals.

The development of agricultural exports is an important area for Ukraine, as it allows it to diversify its markets and dependence on individual countries. The gradual opening of new markets helps to strengthen Ukraine's position in the world and contributes to the development of the national economy.
