The Ukrainian government has already allocated more than UAH 4 billion to respond to and recover from the terrorist attack committed by Russian criminals at the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant.

This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal during a government meeting.

"In total, the government has allocated more than UAH 4 billion to overcome the consequences of the terrorist attack. These funds will be used to deliver drinking water, restore facilities and pay one-time assistance to the victims," Shmyhal said.

According to him, shortly after the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant dam by Russian criminals, the government allocated UAH 1.5 billion from the Liquidation Fund for the construction of main water pipelines. The work has already begun.

So far, 2300 applications for assistance have been submitted, of which almost a thousand have been approved for payment. The funds have been transferred to the local level and local authorities are expected to make the payments within the next two days.
