Twitter has restored the ability to view posts for users who are not logged in. This was reported by Engadget.

According to the publication, the Twitter administration has "quietly" abandoned the mandatory authorization on the platform.

However, user profiles remain closed to those who are not logged in. In this case, a window appears with a request to log in or register.

A few days ago, it became known that Twitter now requires users to log in to the platform to view posts. The social network did not announce such changes, and only after they were introduced did the owner of the social network, Elon Musk, explain that it was a "temporary emergency measure." According to him, Twitter was receiving "so much data that it was reducing the quality of service for ordinary users."

In addition, the platform recently decided to limit the number of tweets that authorized users can view daily.

Meanwhile, Meta is planning to launch an analog of Twitter - a microblogging application called Threads. In practice, it will be a platform for exchanging opinions among Instagram users.
