Sunflower oil transportation: discounts from Moldova

Moldova provided additional discounts to Ukrainian exporters for transit transportation of sunflower oil through its territory. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

According to the agreed agreements, Ukrainian exporters who use rail transport to transit sunflower oil through Moldova to the Danube ports of Reni, Giurgiulesti and Galati will receive a 39% discount.

This information will soon appear on the official web portal of the Moldovan Railways. In accordance with the terms of the discount, Ukrainian exporters must ensure a monthly volume of 30,000 tons of vegetable oil transportation.

These agreements were reached after talks between Mykola Solsky, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, and his Moldovan counterpart Vladimir Bol, which were also attended by representatives of Ukrainian and Moldovan railways.

This initiative will help improve transportation conditions for Ukrainian producers and increase the transit volume of sunflower oil through Moldova, which in turn will help strengthen trade relations between Ukraine and Moldova.
