Ukrzaliznytsia starts cooperation with Moldovan railway operator Calea Ferată din Moldova

Ukrzaliznytsia has started cooperation with the Moldovan railway operator Calea Ferată din Moldova (CFM), which will allow organizing the transportation of goods in transit through Moldova in all directions. This was reported by the company's press service.

The agreement allows shippers to receive a "one-stop shop" service, which will increase the convenience and efficiency of transportation. Now they do not need to conclude separate contracts for wagon rental and forwarding, as well as look for a counterparty, as Ukrzaliznytsia will provide comprehensive transportation both in Ukraine and Moldova. Viacheslav Yeremin, a member of the Board of Directors of Ukrzaliznytsia, emphasized that this initiative will strengthen the company's export capabilities and increase the volume of transportation of strategically important export cargo.

To receive these services, shippers need to conclude an agreement on the provision of freight forwarding services. Specific terms and conditions of transportation volumes and possible discounts will be discussed in the protocol for agreeing on the contract price between the customer and the branch of DHL.

Such cooperation opens up new prospects for Ukrainian exporters, who will be able to organize the transportation of their goods through Moldova to other countries more efficiently. Transit routes are becoming more accessible and competitive, which will have a positive impact on the development of Ukraine's foreign economic activity.

At the same time, cooperation with the Moldovan operator will help strengthen economic ties between Ukraine and Moldova, which can contribute to the development of business and trade between the two countries.
