The world-famous streaming company Netflix continues to expand its range of gaming opportunities. TVs and computers are now gradually joining the already known list of gadgets where you can enjoy games launched on smartphones.

The company announced this through its press service, emphasizing the expansion of opportunities for its users.

The company's vice president, Mike Verdue, emphasized that this step reflects an attempt to make gaming available to Netflix users on any device where they use the platform, including TVs, computers, and mobile phones.

Starting on Monday, Netflix has already begun beta testing the ability to play games for a select number of users in Canada and the UK who have certain TV models. Over the coming weeks, the platform plans to expand this feature to PCs and computers via the Netflix website in supported browsers.

The devices that will be available for users to play on include Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast with Google TV, LG TVs, Nvidia Shield TV, Roku, Samsung Smart TV, and Walmart ONN. Other devices will be added later.

TV users will have the option of using their smartphones as a controller to play the game, while PC and Mac players will be able to use a keyboard and mouse. Initially, two games will be available: Oxenfree and Molehew's Mining Adventure.

Since 2021, Netflix has been actively expanding its gaming platform. The first steps were aimed at smartphones, and now the company has decided to open the door to the world of games on wider platforms.
