Ukraine is entering a tough winter and is already making every effort to prepare for the heating season. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal during a government meeting dedicated to the country's preparations for the coldest time of the year. The government's press service issued a statement that was imbued with decisive measures in the energy sector.

According to the Prime Minister, a number of productive meetings with foreign partners took place on August 24, contributing to the strengthening of Ukraine in the context of preparing for the heating season and ensuring energy security.

Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of cooperation with Finland. During the meeting with the Prime Minister of Finland, the parties discussed not only heating issues, but also assistance to the Ukrainian energy system and Ukraine's recovery from difficult periods.

"We will continue to strengthen cooperation in this area, as the winter is also expected to be extremely demanding. We are currently preparing for this period as much as possible. We have already pumped more than 13 billion cubic meters of gas and are actively repairing and restoring our energy facilities," emphasized Shmyhal.

The Ukrainian government is open to all options and is ready for any challenges related to providing heating for the population in the coming cold period. The slogans of these preparations are the safety and comfort of Ukrainian citizens during the winter cold.
