Ukrainian entrepreneurs have been actively using the government's 5-7-9 program, raising more than UAH 137 billion since the start of the war. Last week, 397 soft loans totaling UAH 1.5 billion were issued. These figures are provided by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

The 5-7-9 program was launched in February 2020 to provide support to small and medium-sized enterprises in Ukraine. During its operation, the business community applied to authorized banks and received 70,724 loans totaling UAH 226.9 billion.

The demand for this program was particularly strong during the period of the great war in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the conflict, entrepreneurs have received 35,902 loan agreements worth UAH 137.3 billion. During this time, funds were allocated for various purposes, including:

UAH 57.61 billion was allocated for anti-war purposes.
UAH 33.78 billion was allocated to agricultural producers.
UAH 7.8 billion was provided in the form of anti-crisis loans.
UAH 6.5 billion was invested in investment projects.
UAH 4.1 billion was used to refinance previously obtained loans.
The 5-7-9 program is implemented by the Entrepreneurship Development Fund (EDF) with the participation of 45 Ukrainian banks. All interested companies can learn more about the terms of participation and the list of authorized banks on the Fund's website.

The 5-7-9 program continues to be an important tool for supporting small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine, contributing to the country's economic development and resilience in the face of a major war.
