Ukraine secures sea corridor on its own: no need for grain deals

The Ukrainian sea corridor, which was created through the joint efforts of the Ministry of Infrastructure and the military, has recently demonstrated its ability to receive and release up to 8 ships daily. This is the same number that we handled last fall when the grain agreement between Ukraine, Russia, the UN, and Turkey was in effect.

According to Andriy Klymenko, project manager at the Black Sea Institute for Strategic Studies, Ukraine has demonstrated through its own efforts that it is able to provide a safe passage for the same number of ships every day as it did during the UN-led grain corridor.

With the development of the maritime corridor, Ukraine is confirming its readiness to ensure safe and efficient ship traffic on the Black Sea without the need for grain agreements, which used to be an important element of maritime transportation.

This success is the result of the joint efforts of military and civilian structures working to ensure security in the region. The Ukrainian military has demonstrated its professionalism and commitment to national security.

This also demonstrates the importance of infrastructure investments and modernization of seaports, which help to develop Ukraine's trade and economy.

Ukraine is ready to continue to maintain the security and efficiency of its sea corridor, contributing to the development of regional and international trade relations.
