The Government of Ukraine has made an important decision to allocate UAH 2 billion to modernize and improve border crossing points. This initiative is part of the strategic reform "European Border" and is aimed at ensuring fast and smooth border crossing between Ukrainian citizens and businesses with European countries.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal emphasized the importance of this decision for the development of Ukraine's border infrastructure: "This is a part of the government's priority reform "European Border". It provides that citizens and businesses will be able to cross the border with European countries quickly, conveniently and without bureaucracy."

One of the key components of this initiative is to improve the infrastructure of checkpoints, which includes the construction of new and reconstruction of existing checkpoints. This will help improve the efficiency and security of border crossings, which is an important aspect for Ukraine in the context of its European integration.

At the same time, the government approved a resolution that provides for a grant of UAH 1.8 billion to restore critical logistics infrastructure and road connections. This grant was received from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development as part of the RELINC project, and it is aimed at improving Ukraine's transport infrastructure.

Allocating financial resources for the modernization of border crossing points and infrastructure is important to support the efficiency of foreign trade, facilitate the movement of people and goods, and ensure security at Ukraine's border. The implementation of these projects will help improve the country's infrastructure potential and contribute to its development in the context of integration into the European community.
