Lviv, Odesa and Bukovel outperformed Kyiv in terms of hotel prices

Average prices for hotel rooms in the cities of Lviv, Odesa and Bukovel resort in August and September were higher than in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv. These data were obtained after analyzing the hotel market by Hotel Matrix, a web-based hotel analytics service.

During this period, the average hotel room rates in different regions were as follows: in Bukovel - UAH 3210 per room, in Lviv - UAH 2410, in Odesa - UAH 2302, and in Kyiv - UAH 1873.

It is worth noting that the occupancy rate in Kyiv in September was only 38% of the total number of hotel rooms, while in Lviv this figure was up to 60%. In Bukovel, the occupancy rate was 68% (down from 86% in August), and in Odesa it was only 29% (up from 35% in August).

This means that the average revenue per hotel room per day in September amounted to UAH 2,186 in Bukovel, UAH 1,436 in Lviv, UAH 668 in Odesa and UAH 654 in Kyiv.
