The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) has taken a significant step by removing the Indian company Shree Ramkrishna Exports (SRK) from the list of international sponsors of war. This became possible after SRK's decision to refuse to cooperate with Russian entities under sanctions and to support the G7 countries' initiatives to restrict trade in Russian diamonds.

Nowadays, the Indian company SRK is one of the world's largest players in the field of diamond mining and export, and its withdrawal from the list of war sponsors has been recognized internationally.

SRK's refusal to cooperate with Russian entities under sanctions and its support for international initiatives demonstrate its condemnation of Russian aggression and its efforts to weaken its ability to continue military actions against Ukraine.

India is recognized as one of the largest importers of diamonds, including rough diamonds from Russia, and is the world's largest diamond processing center. This decision is an important step to reduce Russia's influence and maintain international peace.

Some countries have already imposed a ban on the import of rough Russian diamonds, but this ban does not apply to Russian diamonds that have been processed in other countries, which creates gaps in the sanctions mechanism.

NACP Chairman Alexander Novikov noted that the refusal of companies like SRK to purchase Russian diamonds is an important contribution to India's peace and national security.

Earlier, SRK was included in the list of international sponsors of war, but their decisive action to leave this list was an important step to support Ukraine in its efforts to end the conflict and ensure peace in the region.
