Ukraine continues to work decisively on the important issue of surveying and demining agricultural land, which is important for the resumption of economic activity and agricultural development. According to the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, more than 225 thousand hectares of agricultural land have been surveyed so far, which is 47% of the total number of priority areas.

It is noted that in the last week of October alone, experts inspected more than 5 thousand hectares of such land, confirming the active pace of land resources assessment.

According to the Ministry, the largest amount of land inspection work, namely almost 4.2 thousand hectares, was carried out in the Kherson region. The remaining area is distributed between Mykolaiv and Kharkiv regions.

Summarizing the data, more than 47% of the agricultural land intended for the priority resumption of economic operation has already been inspected. In particular, more than 28% of the total amount of land has been inspected in Kharkiv region, 48% in Kherson region, and more than 79% in Mykolaiv region.

According to the Ministry of Economy, economic activity has been restored on 170,000 hectares of agricultural land, which is an important step towards improving the agricultural sector and ensuring the country's food security.

In total, the four-year plan for the priority restoration of agricultural land includes inspections and, if necessary, the clearance and demining of more than 470 thousand hectares of agricultural land, which will be an important guarantee of the stability of Ukrainian agriculture.

Mentioning the support from international partners, Ukraine has already attracted about €500 million for demining of land and de-occupied territories. This important support reflects the readiness of the international community to assist Ukraine in the difficult tasks of restoring and improving living conditions in the government-controlled territories.
