The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) has included the Italian group of companies Camozzi in the list of international sponsors of war. The company continues to do business in the Russian Federation, cooperates with the Russian military-industrial complex (MIC) and has a plant operating in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

This was reported by the NACP press service.

Camozzi Group is an international Italian concern specializing in the production of pneumatic equipment, pneumatic systems and pneumatic automation. The company is one of the leaders in this segment of the global market and is represented in 78 countries, including Russia. Camozzi plants did not stop production even after Russia launched its aggression against Ukraine.

Pneumatic equipment is important for many industries as it helps automate production processes. An important client of Camozzi in the Russian Federation is the military-industrial complex plants whose products are used in the war against Ukraine. These include OJSC Izhorskiye Zavody," OJSC Kolomna Plant," OJSC "Power Machines," OJSC NPK Uralvagonzavod and PetrozavodskMash holding.

"In addition, the Italian Camozzi Group has been supporting the sanctioned Tikhvin Carriage Works LLC and Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant JSC, which are controlled by Russian oligarchs Iskandar Makhmudov and Andrey Bokarev, since the beginning of the Russian aggression," the NACP said.

It is also known that the Camozzi Pneumatics Mechanical Assembly Plant in Simferopol continues to operate even after the annexation of Crimea by Russia.

"The website of the Russian company VPK Concordia states: "The MIC company is an official Camozzi dealer. Our Camozzi representative office in Simferopol is the place where you can buy Camozzi equipment at the best prices in Simferopol!" The Camozzi company itself does not indicate its presence in Crimea on its official website, probably because of possible international condemnation," the NACP emphasized.

In Russia, Camozzi operates through Camozzi Pneumatics LLC, which employs more than 500 people and serves 80,000 client companies.

"In addition to paying taxes to the budget of the terrorist state, the company provides jobs to Russians, contributing to the Russian economy and employment," the NAPC noted.

In addition, Camozzi Group also operates in Ukraine. In particular, the list of founders of the Camozzi law firm in Ukraine includes a Russian citizen, Alexei Kistichenko, who currently heads the Russian representative office of Camozzi.
