The most popular car brands in Ukraine: October rating

In October, Ukrainians purchased more than 5.7 thousand new passenger cars, which is 83% more than in the same month last year. TOYOTA cars were the most popular among consumers.

This information came from Ukravtoprom.

It is noted that compared to September, activity in the passenger car segment increased by 0.7%.

Ukravtoprom noted that TOYOTA cars were in the greatest demand among Ukrainians in October, with 929 registrations. Compared to October 2022, sales of new TOYOTA cars in Ukraine increased by 40%.

The second most popular brand was VOLKSWAGEN, with the number of registrations of this brand tripling to 574 units.

SKODA is in third place in the ranking with 477 cars sold, which is an increase of 46%.

Fourth place in the ranking is taken by BMW with 461 vehicles, whose sales increased by 255%.

The fifth position in the ranking is occupied by RENAULT with 432 cars sold, having increased its volume by 60%.

The TOP 10 popular brands in October 2023 also included: NISSAN - 309 units; HYUNDAI - 240 units; MERCEDES-BENZ - 224 cars; MAZDA - 220 units; PEUGEOT - 200 units.

The title of the new passenger car market leader in October went to RENAULT Duster with 387 registrations.

In general, from January to October 2023, Ukrainians purchased and registered 49.6 thousand new passenger cars, which is 60% more than in the same period last year, Ukravtoprom reported.
