President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned that Russia is actively stockpiling missiles in preparation for possible attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. In a conversation with Western journalists quoted by AFP, he said that, according to his estimates, the number of missiles in Russian arsenals is not much higher than in 2022, otherwise they would have already used them for attacks.

"I think they are stockpiling, but they don't have much more missiles than before. Otherwise, they would have already started bombing," Zelensky said.

Earlier, the military spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuriy Ihnat, said that the occupiers have more than 800 missiles of various types ready to be used against critical infrastructure. This indicates serious efforts by the enemy to prepare arsenals for possible attacks.

From September 2022 to March 2023, enemy forces have already used more than 1,000 cruise missiles and more than 1,000 kamikaze drones. This demonstrates the intensity of the conflict with high-tech weapons and the growing risk to Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine faces a real threat and called on the international community to pay close attention to the situation and support in ensuring the country's security in an emergency.
