Renting an apartment in Kyiv and European capitals

Apartment rent in Kyiv remains one of the cheapest in Europe. According to the HousingAnywhere service, the cost of renting in the Ukrainian capital is four times lower than in Amsterdam or Rome, and three times cheaper than in Paris or Lisbon. Even compared to cities such as Amsterdam, Paris, The Hague, and others, Kyiv shows a significant advantage in terms of rental costs.

European cities are usually among the top 10 in terms of the cost of renting apartments, rooms and studios. This is especially true for cities in the Netherlands and Germany, where housing affordability is becoming a serious problem. Even in cities such as Munich, real estate prices remain high, but they have recently seen a decline in prices.

Turin and Valencia showed the largest increases in rents compared to last year, but remain among the cities with the lowest rents. Amsterdam and Rome, despite high prices, showed minimal growth in rental costs, making them among the most expensive cities in Europe.

Compared to the previous year, apartment rents in Lisbon showed a significant decline, making it one of the most expensive cities in terms of rental rates. Even after the reduction in rental prices, prices in Lisbon remain high compared to other European cities.

Renting in Kyiv is coming to the fore as a more affordable alternative compared to many European capitals. This can be an important factor for migrants, students, and others looking for affordable housing in Europe.
