Ukrainians are increasingly choosing dairy products in supermarkets

Despite rising prices for dairy products, sales volumes increased in March. According to the data, most fresh dairy producers are already operating at a profit.

INFAGRO reports that the first month of spring was marked by the activity of fresh dairy producers.

Analysts note that, despite the availability of a "market supply" of milk and its derivatives in the domestic market, this niche is constantly shrinking, and factory-made dairy products are successfully filling their place.

According to them, this is the main reason for the successful sales of fresh dairy products.

Analysts predict that the production of fresh dairy products may approach pre-war levels as early as this year. And, as most producers are making a profit, we can expect that basic prices will not rise significantly.

Finally, analysts point to a noticeable increase in sales, despite the decrease in the number of potential consumers due to the occupation of some territories, mass migration, and unstable income levels among Ukrainians.
