Within the framework of cooperation with the USAID Program for Agrarian and Rural Development, the combined feed plant in Poltava Oblast plans to expand its capacity for processing corn and pea grains. This information was made public on the official page of the program in the Facebook social network. The grant project is implemented in cooperation with the Lohvytskyi compound feed plant.

As part of this project, the company is starting the construction of a plant for the production of groats, which will produce corn groats and flour, as well as process peas. It is planned to launch this plant in November of this year.

It is expected that the plant will have a productivity of up to 120 tons of grain per day. It will work on modern Ukrainian equipment. The plant also plans to cooperate with farmers who will grow corn on the provided seed material.

According to representatives of the USAID program, this project will contribute to the development of the agricultural sector in Poltava region and will contribute to the creation of new jobs. At the same time, expanding the production of groats at the local level will contribute to the increase in the production of agricultural products in the region.

This step forward in the development of the agricultural sector of the Poltava region will also contribute to the increase in the production of grain crops and the development of local agricultural business. Activation of cooperation between enterprises and farmers will contribute to increasing the efficiency of agricultural production in the region.
