Prices for holidays abroad in May-June 2024 have increased significantly compared to previous years, according to the tourism market. For example, the most affordable vacation options in Greece or Turkey will cost an average of 10,000 to 15,000 hryvnias per person for 7 nights, but this price does not include a transfer to the nearest airport.

In recent years, particularly during the pandemic, vacation prices began to rise due to increased demand and increased logistics costs for Ukrainian tourists. According to Maryna Kazakova, the founder of the travel agency Kazakov's Travel, the increasing price policy in high-quality hotels has become especially noticeable.

Ihor Zakharenko, director of the "Feeriya Mandriv" travel agency, emphasizes the importance of analyzing the conditions of tours before purchasing them. He notes that the low cost of a tour can often be deceiving, as additional costs for transportation or other services can significantly increase the cost of a vacation. For example, popular tours to Paris at a low price often include long overnight transfers, which can negatively affect the quality of your vacation.

Regarding specific price offers for tours in May 2024, here are some examples:

Greece (departure from Chisinau) - from UAH 10,000 per person (7 nights, breakfast only);
Turkey - from UAH 15,000;
Tunisia - from UAH 17,000;
Montenegro - from UAH 20,000;
Albania - from UAH 20,000;
Cyprus - from UAH 24,000;
Spain - from UAH 31,000;
Croatia - from UAH 34,000.
Zakharenko also notes that bus tours have become more popular due to the lack of air connections and are offered at more affordable prices. Such tours include excursions and overnight stays in accompanying cities, for example in Italy or France, which can cost around 900 euros per week in 4-star hotels.
