Ukrgazvydobuvannya set a record for gas production in the first half of 2024

JSC "Ukrgazvydobuvannya" reached new record gas production figures for the first six months of 2024, having produced 6.913 billion cubic meters of marketable gas. This is 8.8% more than in the same period last year, which indicates significant progress in the company's work.

According to the information published on the company's official website, i.e. General Director of JSC "Ukrgazvydobuvannya" Serhii Lagno noted that 41 new wells were put into operation in the first half of the year, of which 14 are high-flow wells. In particular, one of the new wells shows a daily output exceeding 400,000 cubic meters.

"These are very good results, which were achieved thanks to the complex work of the team. I thank my colleagues for their professionalism," Serhiy Lagno noted. He also added that in six months the team drilled 165,864 meters of penetration, which is 9,117 meters more than in the same period last year.

According to Lagno, the company has also achieved excellent results in gas production from modernized old wells. "Ukrgazvydobuvannya" introduces new technologies, expands and keeps pace with modern world trends.

We will remind that in the first six months of 2024, the companies of the Naftogaz Group, which include "Ukrgazvydobuvannya" and "Ukrnafta", produced 7.3 billion cubic meters of commercial gas, which is 8% more compared to the same period last year.

These results testify to the effective strategy and coordinated work of the Ukrgazvydobuvannya team. Thanks to new technologies and the expansion of production capacities, the company confidently steps towards further success in the field of gas production, ensuring Ukraine's energy independence.
