As part of the humanitarian initiative Grain from Ukraine, Ukraine successfully sent the first batch of 1,000 tons of flour to Palestine. This initiative is designed to help more than 100,000 families who are suffering from acute food shortages due to the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

According to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, this aid is necessary for civilians who find themselves in difficult conditions due to the conflict and food crisis caused by the Russian invasion. The initiative is supported by international partners and is an important element of the "Food Security" strategy, which is being actively developed by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

The first batch of 1,000 tons of wheat flour was delivered to the Gaza Strip through Jordanian ports, after which it has already begun to be distributed to local residents. This is a significant step in solving the humanitarian crisis in the region, which requires urgent measures to provide food and medical supplies.

In the future, it is planned to deliver additional ships with the next batches of flour, the total volume of which will exceed 7 thousand tons. This will be possible thanks to the support of donors from Norway, Austria, Estonia, France and Iceland, who also joined the Grain from Ukraine initiative.

This humanitarian action shows international solidarity and the desire to help those who find themselves in difficult life circumstances due to the military conflict. Ukraine continues to actively cooperate with international partners to ensure peace and stability in the region, in particular through the Grain from Ukraine initiative.
