Ukrainian entrepreneurs can now apply for licenses for the export of goods in electronic format through the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services, according to updates to the order of the Ministry of Economy "On the procedure for licensing the export of goods". This initiative was announced by the Ministry of Economy.
The new rules allow to preserve the possibility of submitting paper documents, but facilitate the transition to electronic services. This step became part of a large-scale deregulation aimed at facilitating business conditions in Ukraine.
Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliya Svyridenko emphasized: "The digitization of public services for business is one of the priority tasks on the way to greater efficiency and transparency. The transition to electronic obtaining of licenses for exporters is only the beginning; we are also working on simplifying procedures for importers and optimizing requirements for permits documentation".
To obtain a license to export goods from Ukraine online, entrepreneurs need to submit a number of documents through the web portal, including a letter of application with a guarantee of payment of the state fee, an application and the corresponding foreign economic agreement with all annexes and translations.
After uploading the documents in the electronic cabinet, the processing of the application usually takes up to 10 working days. A positive decision leads to the automatic issuance of a license, which becomes available through the applicant's office.
If you choose to submit documents in paper format with the possibility of receiving an answer electronically, it is important to indicate your e-mail address when submitting documents.
An important feature is that during martial law, the process of issuing licenses for the export and import of goods is carried out free of charge, and the application letter does not require the addition of a guarantee of payment of the state fee.
