Growth in sales of new cars in Ukraine: July 2024 showed positive results

In July 2024, the Ukrainian market for new passenger cars experienced significant growth. According to Ukravtoprom, about 6,400 new cars were registered this month. This is 20% more than last July and 24% more than June 2024.

The highest demand in July was observed for cars of the Japanese brand TOYOTA, which sold 1,024 new cars. The second place in terms of sales volume was taken by BMW with 628 cars sold, and the third place was taken by the manufacturer RENAULT with 587 units. SKODA with 378 cars sold and VOLKSWAGEN with 334 units also entered the top five.

The most popular model in July was RENAULT Duster, sales of which amounted to 541 units. This model enjoys stable demand among Ukrainian consumers, despite the general decrease in sales of Renault cars in recent months.

Since the beginning of 2024, more than 39,200 new passenger cars have been registered in Ukraine. This indicator exceeds the data of the same period in 2023 by 21%. From January to June 2024, more than 32,800 new cars were sold, which is 21% more than in the first half of last year.

Among the most popular models that are in demand in Ukraine, we can highlight: Renault Duster (3324 units), Toyota RAV-4 (2276 units), Volkswagen iD.4 (1072 units), Mazda CX-5 (876 units) and KIA Sportage (843 units). These cars continue to be the best sellers on the Ukrainian market.
