Ukrainian manufacturers of pet food gained access to a new market in Albania

The successful development of the Ukrainian agricultural sector received a new impetus: now producers of pet food will be able to export their products to Albania. This opportunity was the result of negotiations between the State Production and Consumer Service of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which made it possible to agree on new certificates for Ukrainian manufacturers.

In particular, two certificates were approved, which will become the basis for export: a health certificate for canned feed intended for import or transit from Ukraine to Albania, and a health certificate for pet chews. These documents will simplify the procedure for entering a new market and ensure compliance of products with veterinary requirements.

Information about the approved form of the veterinary certificate was published on the official web portal of the State Production and Consumer Service. It is located in the "International Cooperation" section under the "Veterinary and Safety" subsection, which allows producers to quickly familiarize themselves with export requirements.

According to the information of the department, the first step for the implementation of exports is to submit a request by the market operator to the territorial body of the State Production and Consumer Service at the location of production. This stage is critically important for proper documentation and ensuring high product quality standards.

The head of the State Production and Consumer Service, Serhiy Tkachuk, emphasized the importance of diversifying international sales markets. "Expanding the geography of exports is a key factor for the development of domestic business, especially in the conditions of today's challenges. We will continue to support Ukrainian manufacturers by all possible means," Tkachuk emphasized.

The opening of a new market in Albania is an important step for Ukrainian manufacturers who seek to strengthen their position on the international stage. This will not only contribute to the development of the agricultural sector, but will also provide domestic consumers with high-quality feed for pets.
