The Ministry of Economy and Visa join forces for digitalization of small and medium-sized businesses

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine concluded a memorandum of cooperation with the Visa company aimed at the digitalization of small and medium-sized businesses in the country. This initiative provides infrastructure support for programs implemented within the framework of the "Made in Ukraine" project, as well as encouraging the consumption of Ukrainian goods. This is reported by the Ministry of Economy.

The agreement between the Ministry of Economy and Visa provides for joint work on the transition of Ukrainian business to digital technologies. This cooperation will help small and medium-sized enterprises to implement modern solutions that will facilitate business processes and increase efficiency.

One of the key components of cooperation will be the support of infrastructure projects that are implemented in accordance with the "Made in Ukraine" economic policy initiated by President Volodymyr Zelensky. An important aspect of this work will be the popularization of electronic payments, which will make it possible to ensure greater transparency of financial transactions and contribute to the detinization of the economy.

The Ministry of Economy emphasizes that the introduction of electronic payment systems will help create a fair competitive environment where all participants will be able to act on equal terms. In addition, emphasis will be placed on improving the quality of customer service, which is an important factor for business development.

"The partnership between the Ministry of Economy and Visa will help to implement innovative payment solutions that will encourage consumers to buy Ukrainian goods by offering favorable conditions," the ministry's press service said in a statement. These innovations will help increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian manufacturers.

Economy Minister Yuliya Svyridenko noted that supporting domestic manufacturers is one of the department's key priorities. "The "Made in Ukraine" initiative, launched last year in February, is extremely important for our country. Cooperation with Visa, the world leader in the field of electronic payments, opens up new opportunities for business development in Ukraine," the minister concluded.
