Tesla has announced a recall of more than 27,000 Cybertrucks in the United States. The reason for this decision was the detection of a delay in the image of the rear-view camera, which can significantly impair the visibility of the driver and increase the risk of traffic accidents. The manufacturer assures that a software update will be able to solve this problem.

According to information published by Reuters, the Cybertruck system in the vehicles subject to the recall may not complete the shutdown process until receiving a boot command. This causes delays in displaying the rear view image on the car screen.

In the mentioned vehicles, the image may not appear for two seconds after the reverse gear is activated. Additionally, the rearview camera display can go blank for up to six to eight seconds, which is also a safety concern.

Tesla officials have already said that they plan to fix the problem with software updates that can be downloaded directly into the car. This solution aims to improve the safety of drivers and reduce the likelihood of accidents related to insufficient visibility when reversing.

This incident with the recall of Cybertruck cars has caused a discussion among users who have already had time to test the new model. Many of them expressed concern about the safety of such technologies in modern cars, as well as the importance of regular quality checks.

Tesla continues to work on improving the safety of its models and adapting to the growing standards imposed on the automotive industry. At the same time, the company emphasizes that timely updates and responses to problems are key to maintaining consumer trust.
