The new service is Animal husbandry: simplification for farmers and the development of animal husbandry

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine has launched a new electronic portal isLivestock, which is designed to significantly simplify the process of registration of subjects of breeding business in animal husbandry. This innovative service promises to make procedures simpler and more transparent for farmers, giving them easy access to all the necessary information about farm animals.

This was announced by the Minister of Agrarian Policy Vitaliy Koval, emphasizing that the new portal will not only reduce bureaucratic obstacles, but also make decisions more transparent. Livestock farming will provide farmers with the opportunity to freely access the general list of registered breeds of all types of animals that are on the territory of Ukraine.

The launch of the platform took place on October 10. Now, in order to obtain the status of a subject of a breeding matter in animal husbandry, it is enough to submit an electronic application through the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy in the Livestock section, enter data in the relevant register and receive an official extract.

The minister also explained that a similar procedure is in place for the approval and registration of new breeding achievements in animal husbandry, such as the breeding of new breeds or types of animals. In addition, the service allows registration of new imported breeds, simplifying the process of integration into the market of new types of farm animals.

Koval also emphasized that the Ministry of Agrarian Policy will continue to digitize its services to make the work of farmers more efficient and convenient. This will allow farmers to focus on the development of their business, and not on administrative procedures.

Two key electronic registers have already been implemented within the framework of the platform: Register of Breeding Subjects in Livestock Breeding and Register of Breeding Achievements in Livestock Breeding. These registers allow registration, approval and issuance of extracts in electronic format, which significantly speeds up processes and reduces costs for farmers.

Thanks to the launch of eLivestock, Ukrainian farmers received a powerful tool for managing breeding affairs and breeding achievements, which will contribute to the further development of the livestock industry in Ukraine.
