The Ukrainian logistics company Nova Poshta significantly expanded the scope of its activities in Moldova in 2024, doubling its delivery volumes. In total, the company processed almost 4 million shipments, of which more than 600 thousand parcels were delivered through special delivery points. This indicates the growing demand for logistics services and customer trust in the service.

According to the company's press service, last year Nova Poshta significantly increased financial contributions to the Moldovan budget. The volume of taxes paid increased by 87% and amounted to 28.6 million lei. At the same time, domestic shipments increased by 26%, and international shipments increased fourfold, reaching 3 million parcels.

Moldovans actively use international orders, in particular, they receive goods from China, the USA, Romania and Ukraine. The most popular online stores among the country's residents are Temu, Joom, Aliexpress, iHerb, Zapatos and MakeUp. This indicates a high level of integration of the Moldovan market into international e-commerce.

One of the company's key achievements was the introduction of a new service format - parcel delivery points. Last year, Nova Poshta became the first company in Moldova to offer this service to customers, and remains the only postal operator providing such a service. This significantly simplified the receipt of parcels for customers and made delivery even more convenient.

In addition to the delivery points, Nova Poshta owns the largest network of post offices in the country. They are located in 20 cities of Moldova, as well as in popular supermarket chains Kaufland, Linella, Merci and Local, which allows customers to pick up their parcels at a convenient time. The company emphasizes that cooperation with retail chains is a strategic direction for development.

Currently, 31 Nova Poshta branches operate in Moldova, as well as 3 modern sorting terminals, which allow processing significant volumes of shipments in a short time. Given the rapid growth in demand, the company plans to further expand its services, which will make logistics services even more accessible to the country's residents.
