In February 2025, the state budget of Ukraine received 125.8 billion hryvnias in the form of taxes, fees and other mandatory payments. This is evidenced by operational data from the Ministry of Finance, which published detailed information on financial revenues for this period.
The main source of budget replenishment was the State Tax Service, which provided 75.6 billion hryvnias. Among the largest tax revenue items: 25.8 billion hryvnias from personal income tax and military levy, 19.8 billion hryvnias in the form of value added tax (the total amount of VAT collected was 32.7 billion hryvnias, and 12.9 billion was reimbursed). Excise tax replenished the budget by 15.2 billion hryvnias, corporate income tax by 11 billion hryvnias, and rent brought in another 2.5 billion hryvnias.
The State Customs Service also made a significant contribution to the country's financial system, transferring 44.2 billion hryvnias to the budget. This emphasizes the importance of customs duties as a stable source of budget revenues.
In addition to the general fund of the state budget, taking into account revenues to the special fund, the total amount of budget revenues in February 2025 amounted to 244.7 billion hryvnias. This indicates the effectiveness of tax and customs collection in the current fiscal year.
No less important are revenues to social security funds. As of February 27, 43.2 billion hryvnias were received by the pension and social insurance funds in the form of a single social contribution (SSC). These funds are intended for the payment of pensions, social benefits and other guarantees for citizens.
Overall, February revenues demonstrate the stability of Ukraine's tax and customs system, which is an important factor for financing government spending, including social programs, the defense sector and the country's economic development.
