State-owned lands at auctions: a successful week for the Land Bank

Over the past week, the Prozorro.Sales system has recorded a significant economic contribution from the sublease of state-owned agricultural lands. According to the data received from the press service of the Land Bank, the total amount collected from the auctions amounted to 37.3 million hryvnias, to which an additional 7.4 million hryvnias are expected in the form of VAT. Thus, the potential economic effect of these transactions could reach 44.7 million hryvnias.

During the week, 34 electronic auctions were held, during which land plots were considered in 9 regions of Ukraine: Sumy, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, Odessa, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Zakarpattia and Mykolaiv. The total area of ​​land put up for auction amounted to 2,890 hectares.

Auction participants submitted 122 offers. The total area of ​​land plots offered for sublease also amounted to 2,890 hectares.

The average cost of sublease per hectare was 12,898 hryvnias. The price of starting offers for all lots increased on average by 3.5 times from the initial values.

The largest and most highly rated lot of the week was a plot in Mykolaiv region with an area of ​​1,120 hectares, for which five participants competed. The final price reached 11.2 million hryvnias, which corresponds to 10,074 hryvnias per hectare.

As a result of the auctions held on April 11, 10 lots were offered in the Zakarpattia, Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, Kyiv and Khmelnytsky regions. The total area of ​​land plots put up for auction was 218.15 hectares.

Participants submitted 32 offers. The initial cost of the sublease, estimated at 713,368 hryvnias, increased on average five times and amounted to 3.5 million hryvnias (excluding VAT). The total expected economic effect of these auctions, including VAT, is estimated at 4.2 million hryvnias.

The most expensive lot was a land plot of 53.46 hectares in the Khmelnytskyi region, for which five participants competed, and the final bid was 1.4 million hryvnias. The cost of one hectare of this plot is 27,493 hryvnias.

These successful results demonstrate active interest in state land resources among market participants, which contributes to the positive development of the agricultural sector of Ukraine.
