In June, SkyUp Airlines launched three new regular flights from the Moldovan capital of Chisinau to important European hubs — Berlin, Prague, and Stockholm. The first flights have already taken place, and the company plans to actively increase its presence in Central and Eastern Europe.
According to the schedule, flights to Stockholm will be operated every Tuesday and Sunday, to Prague — every Monday and Saturday, and to Berlin — every Wednesday and Friday. This schedule is focused on the convenience of passengers traveling both for business and for tourism.
SkyUp emphasizes that the opening of new routes is part of a strategic development plan that involves expanding the geography of regular flights. “We strive to make high-quality and convenient flights available to a wider range of passengers. The regular program is developing not only from Moldova, but also from neighboring countries — Romania and Poland. This allows us to strengthen our position in the region,” the company’s press service said in a statement.
SkyUp currently offers an extensive route network from Chisinau, covering key European cities: Paris, Nice, Lisbon, Barcelona, Alicante, Palma de Mallorca, Larnaca, Thessaloniki, Athens, Heraklion, and now Berlin, Prague and Stockholm. This opens up new travel opportunities for residents of Moldova and neighboring countries.
Air traffic from Romania is also actively developing. From Bucharest (OTP), SkyUp operates flights to Heraklion (HER) and Larnaca (LCA), and from Cluj-Napoca (CLJ) to Larnaca (LCA). Poland has also become an important market for the company: flights to Heraklion and Larnaca are available from Warsaw (WAW), to Heraklion, Larnaca and Burgas from Katowice (KTW), and to Heraklion from Rzeszow (RZE).
Thus, SkyUp continues to actively develop its presence in the region, focusing on accessibility, variety of destinations and strengthening cross-border mobility. The company is confidently strengthening its position not only as a Ukrainian carrier, but also as an important player in the air transportation market in Central and Eastern Europe.
