Over the past week, Ukrainian entrepreneurs have received a significant boost in development thanks to the state program "Affordable Loans 5-7-9%". During this period, 804 preferential loans were issued for the amount of 2.2 billion hryvnias. This initiative, launched by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, aims to promote economic recovery and support businesses in times of military conflict.

In the first five months of 2025, the volume of support has reached impressive figures: Ukrainian entrepreneurs have already received 12,537 loans for the amount of 39 billion hryvnias. More than half of them — 8,343 loans for 17.5 billion hryvnias — were provided by state-owned banks, which indicates the active participation of the state in financing entrepreneurial initiatives.

In total, since the introduction of martial law, enterprises have received 82,172 loans worth 315.4 billion hryvnias, of which about a third were provided by public sector banks. These funds are used for various purposes, among which investment projects, working capital support and agricultural sector development occupy an important place.

As of June 9, 2025, the largest volumes of lending are directed to investment projects (42.86 billion hryvnias) and working capital support (77.33 billion hryvnias). The program also finances energy service projects, promotes the development of agro-industrial production and supports businesses in areas of increased military risk.

Since the beginning of the program, it has become an indispensable tool for supporting businesses and stabilizing the economic environment in conditions of military operations. In total, more than 116,994 loan agreements worth 405.1 billion hryvnias have been signed, which confirms the high level of interest of entrepreneurs in accessing financial resources during uncertain political conditions.

This program is an important tool not only for meeting the financial needs of enterprises, but also for strengthening Ukraine's economic potential in the face of global challenges and instability.
