Ukrainian innovative companies presented themselves worthily on the international technology arena during Web Summit Vancouver 2025, which took place from May 27 to 30. This event, one of the largest in the world, brought together more than 15 thousand participants, including a thousand startups and almost 700 investors from all over the world.
The Ukrainian delegation at the conference was represented by seven promising startups: ABLE Platform, FluxHR, Funely AI, EVE.CALLS, IONI, SOLU.la and VanOnGo. The initiative for the participation of Ukrainian companies was organized by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Startup Fund with the support of the UMAEF (Ukrainian Modern Art and Education Fund).
The delegation members actively presented their developments, negotiated with potential investors, and discussed new markets and models for entering them. Significant attention was paid to receiving feedback from customers, which allows for more precise adaptation of products to the global market.
Among the biggest achievements are preliminary agreements on investments of $1 million for ABLE Platform and FluxHR. Negotiations are underway with five key investors, including two leading venture funds from the USA and Canada. The startup Funely AI has begun negotiations to attract financing in the amount of $500 thousand.
Other members of the delegation also did not remain unnoticed - they held dozens of meetings, established new connections, and received interest from international partners and investors. This experience is an important step towards scaling Ukrainian projects on the global market.
Participation in Web Summit demonstrated that even in wartime conditions, Ukrainian startups are able to develop, present competitive solutions, and attract significant funds for further growth. Support from the state and international partners plays a key role in this process.
