On July 16, the next land auctions were held in the “Prozorro.Sales” system, during which sublease rights for state agricultural lands were sold. As a result of these auctions, the state budget received 6.6 million hryvnias. If we take into account the value-added tax (20%), the total economic effect of the auctions is 7.9 million hryvnias. This was reported by the “Land Bank”.
A total of 11 auctions were held, at which plots of state land located in three regions of Ukraine were put up for auction - Zakarpattia, Kyiv and Kharkiv regions. The total area of the land plots put up for auction was 403.14 hectares.
In total, 49 offers were submitted by potential tenants for these auctions. The initial cost of all lots was 1.7 million hryvnias, but during active bidding it increased by an average of 3.8 times. Thus, the average cost of renting one hectare of land according to the auction results reached 16,391 hryvnias.
The highest price was offered for a land plot in the Kharkiv region, the area of which is 135.98 hectares. This lot interested five participants who actively competed during the bidding. As a result, the starting cost of this plot increased by 2.8 times, and the final price reached 1.9 million hryvnias. Thus, the price of one hectare on this lot was 14,001 hryvnias.
The growing interest in land auctions indicates the high attractiveness of state-owned agricultural assets among businesses. The electronic bidding system ensures transparency and competition, allowing the state to receive higher rents, and entrepreneurs to have fair access to land. It is expected that such mechanisms will contribute to the further legalization of land relations and the growth of budget revenues.
