In November, the Ukrainian bus and minibus market demonstrated a noticeable revival. According to Ukravtoprom, the country's fleet was replenished with 308 units of this equipment, which is 19% higher than in November 2024. Such dynamics indicate increased demand for both new and used vehicles, in particular in the public and commercial transportation segment.
A noticeable trend was the decrease in the share of new equipment among the total volume of registrations. In November 2025, the share of new buses was 51%, while last year it reached 63%. This may indicate a more active use by Ukrainian carriers and communities of the opportunity to import more affordable used models.
In the new bus segment, the leaders in sales in November were vehicles of Ukrainian and foreign production. The ATAMAN brand received the largest number of registrations - 57 units. In second place were ZAZ buses, of which 30 were purchased in November. The third position was taken by the ISUZU brand with 20 registered vehicles. The demand for these models is explained by their availability, adaptability to Ukrainian operating conditions and prevalence in regional fleets.
The segment of used imported buses also demonstrated activity. The most popular brand among used vehicles was MERCEDES-BENZ - 46 registrations per month. The second most popular brand was the VDL brand, which accounted for 34 units. In third place were VAN HOOL buses with 15 registrations. These brands are traditionally in demand due to their durability and high build quality.
In total, since the beginning of the year, the Ukrainian bus fleet has grown by 2,421 units, which is 27% more compared to the same period in 2024. Of this volume, 1,203 buses were new, which means a growth of 9%, while the number of imported used vehicles increased to 1,218, demonstrating a significant growth of 50%. Such results confirm the stable interest in the development of passenger infrastructure and the renewal of vehicles in the regions of the country.
Overall, the market continues to move towards diversification, combining the demand for affordable new models with active imports of used equipment. This forms a more flexible supply structure and allows Ukrainian carriers to more effectively renew their fleets depending on the financial capabilities and needs of communities.
