More than half of the respondents — 55% — noted that healthy relationships in the team and support from management are of fundamental importance to them. Thus, the social climate in the company plays a key role along with financial expectations.
Among other criteria that influence employment decisions, 48% named work-life balance. For 44%, a hybrid or flexible employment format is important. 35% of respondents noted a competitive salary level as a separate criterion, and 41% pay attention to the stability and reliability of the employer. The same number — 21% — consider the possibility of fully remote work to be important.
In contrast, non-financial and value aspects have the least influence on the choice of a place of work. Only 12% of respondents pay attention to the social responsibility of business, in particular, support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Another 11% noted that corporate values, culture and mission of the company are important to them. The presence of an official reservation was identified as a factor by only 7% of survey participants.
The study also showed that a significant part of Ukrainians is considering the possibility of professional changes. In particular, 26% of respondents said that in 2026 they plan to change their profession, field of activity or specialization. Another 60% answered that this option is possible, and only 14% definitely do not plan to change their career. The main motivation for a potential job change is the desire for a higher salary — this was reported by 72% of respondents.
