Ukraine is actively using its sea corridor to export goods, which are already supplied to 55 countries around the world. This was reported by Oleksiy Kuleba.
According to him, the total volume of cargo transported through Ukrainian seaports is 177.7 million tons. Of this amount, grain occupies the largest share - 106.4 million tons, which confirms the strategic importance of agricultural exports for the country.
Kuleba emphasized that the sea corridor is a key channel for ensuring stable exports of Ukrainian goods to international markets. At the same time, he emphasized that the work of ports and transport infrastructure contributes to Ukraine's integration into the European transport system.
Among the important projects is the development of the Mostyska-Sknyliv Eurorail, which will provide a direct rail connection with the EU. In addition, the “transport visa-free regime” with the European Union has been extended until 2027, which simplifies the movement of goods across the border and reduces bureaucratic barriers.
Another step in modernization is the introduction of electronic freight and transport bills (e-TTN), which change the system of rules in freight transportation, making logistics more transparent and efficient.
Thus, Ukrainian ports not only ensure international trade, but also gradually integrate the country's transport system into European standards, contributing to the development of logistics and the economy as a whole.
