Forbes Magazine on March 10, 2026 published its updated annual ranking of the world's richest people, in which more than 3,400 billionaires participated.
Among Ukrainians, Rinat Akhmetov, the owner of DTEK and Metinvest groups, retains his position as the leader. As of March 2026, his fortune is estimated at $7.8 billion, which is slightly less than in 2025 ($7.9 billion). Akhmetov ranks 472nd in the global ranking, while a year ago he was in 390th position.
The fortune of the owner of the Interpipe investment and industrial group, Victor Pinchuk, also decreased from $3.2 billion to $2.8 billion, which was reflected in the decrease in his position in the global ranking from 1,141st to 1,504th place.
At the same time, the co-founder of the fintech company Revolut, Vlada Yatsenko, showed significant growth. His fortune increased from $1.2 billion in 2025 to $2.2 billion in 2026, which allowed him to rise from 2623rd to 1913th place in the global ranking.
Former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has $1.5 billion, which is less compared to $1.8 billion last year. In the Forbes ranking, he fell from 1947th to 2600th place. The founder of the agricultural holding Kernel, Andriy Verevsky, also lost some of his capital: from $1.4 billion to $1.2 billion, falling in the world ranking from 2356th to 3017th place.
Vadim Novinsky and Konstantin Zhevago's fortunes remained at around $1.2 billion, but their positions in the ranking dropped from 2,623rd to 3,017th place.
The number of billionaires worldwide has increased to a record 3,428. Elon Musk retains the title of the richest person in the world with a fortune of $839 billion. He is followed by Google co-founders Larry Page ($257 billion) and Sergey Brin ($237 billion), as well as Jeff Bezos ($224 billion) and Mark Zuckerberg ($222 billion).
