A new grant program is being launched in Ukraine for agricultural enterprises operating in the berry and vegetable growing sector. The initiative provides financial support to producers developing aggregation models of cooperation with small farmers. The maximum grant amount can reach $150,000.
The program is implemented through the State Agrarian Register (DAR). The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine announced the launch of the initiative. The project’s goal is to help strengthen cooperation in the field of growing berries and vegetables, as well as increase the efficiency of agricultural production.
Within the framework of the program, agricultural enterprises can receive up to $150,000 for infrastructure development, modernization of processing facilities and expansion of cooperation with small farms. It is expected that such support will help create more efficient production and marketing chains.
Producers from several regions of Western Ukraine can apply for participation. In particular, these are enterprises from Volyn, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi and Chernivtsi regions. These regions are identified as priority for the implementation of the program.
Applications will be accepted from March 12 to April 17, 2026. Documents can be submitted through the State Agrarian Register. At the same time, one of the key conditions for participation is the presence of your own investment contribution - from 30% to 60% of the project cost. The amount of co-financing will depend on the category of the aggregator.
In addition to financial support, program participants will also be able to receive technical assistance. As noted in the Ministry of Economy, experts from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) will be involved in the process.
FAO specialists will provide consultations, conduct training courses and help agricultural enterprises develop sustainable business models. Special attention will be paid to the effective involvement of small producers in value chains, which will contribute to the development of the agricultural sector and strengthen cooperation between market participants.
