From March 2022 to March 2026, Ukraine recorded a significant increase in wages in a number of professions. The largest jump in wages was observed in the field of advertising, design and PR. This is evidenced by the analytics of the OLX Robota platform.
The leader in terms of growth rates was a copywriter: his median salary increased from UAH 12,500 to UAH 24,500, which means an increase of 96%. This is almost a doubling of income and the highest indicator among all analyzed vacancies.
The second position is occupied by a supervisor in the trade sector - his salary increased by 64% and reached UAH 45,000. The third place was taken by an auditor in the accounting category: here the level of wages increased by 45% and is UAH 27,500.
The segment of labor and technical professions also recorded a significant increase in income. In particular, the salary of a production assistant increased to UAH 30,000 (+41%), a commodity expert - to UAH 25,000 (+39%), a plumber in construction - to UAH 40,500 (+35%), and a straightener in a car service - to UAH 60,000 (+33%).
The beauty and health sector also demonstrated positive dynamics. The salary of a cosmetologist increased to UAH 26,250, which means an increase of 31%. Also included in the top ten growing professions are a customer service manager in trade (+31% to UAH 27,500) and a bricklayer in construction (+31% to UAH 58,750).
Analysts note that a long-term comparison shows even more large-scale changes. Over the past four years, the greatest growth has been recorded in the cultural and entertainment sector and the beauty industry, where salaries have increased 3–4 times in some places.
In particular, the salary of an animator has increased almost 4 times — from 5,000 to 19,500 UAH. A cosmetologist receives 3.7 times more (from 7,088 to 26,250 UAH), and a photographer — three times more, to 27,250 UAH.
Rapid income growth has also been recorded in the construction sector. The salaries of plumbers increased 3.2 times (up to UAH 40,500), handymen - 3.1 times (up to UAH 25,375), painters - three times (up to UAH 45,000), tilers - 2.9 times (up to UAH 50,000), plasterers - 2.8 times (up to UAH 70,000), and builders - 2.5 times (up to UAH 45,000).
The list of professions with the greatest increase in income is closed by the dentist, whose salary increased 2.4 times - from UAH 16,500 to UAH 40,000. Overall, the data indicate a significant restructuring of the labor market, where both qualified specialists and blue-collar professions benefited the most.
