The postal operator Meest Post has announced an update of the cost of delivery in Ukraine. The new tariffs come into effect from April 20 and apply to most popular categories of shipments.
According to the company's press service, the price revision is due to the increase in costs for key logistics elements. First of all, we are talking about the increase in fuel prices, as well as an increase in costs for infrastructure maintenance, technical support and the operation of partner services.
The company emphasizes that the increase will not be sharp for customers. For standard parcels, the changes remain moderate and on average range from 10 to 20 hryvnias, depending on the weight of the shipment and the selected delivery format.
According to the updated tariffs, the cost of sending documents within the city will be 60 hryvnias, while between cities - from 65 to 70 hryvnias. For parcels weighing up to 2 kg, the price will be 60 UAH within one city and 75–80 UAH for intercity delivery.
Shipments weighing up to 5 kg will cost 95 UAH within the city and from 100 to 110 UAH between settlements. The final amount depends on which format the client chooses - delivery to a branch or to a post office.
Along with the update of tariffs, the company retains a number of free services. In particular, customers can continue to use the free return of shipments weighing up to 30 kg in case of refusal by the recipient, as well as receive packaging materials without additional payment in certain formats.
Special attention has been paid to specific categories of cargo. For pallet shipments, a special tariff has been introduced within regional centers, which has allowed to reduce the cost of delivery in this segment at the local level, the company emphasized.
