A large investment project is being prepared for implementation in the Lviv region - the Sapi Agro Park industrial park. The new industrial site is planned to be built near the village of Sapizhanka on an area of over 11 hectares, where a cattle farm was previously located. The site has not been used for a long time and currently has no engineering infrastructure.
This was reported by Zaxid.net. According to the initiators, the project should become one of the centers of agro-processing in the region and attract investments in production infrastructure.
The main direction of development of the industrial park is the processing of agricultural products. Within the framework of the project, it is planned to organize the production of food products, as well as enterprises for canning vegetables, fruits and potatoes. Separately, the production of starch, flour, cereals, bakery products, as well as the production of oil and fats are envisaged.
To ensure the full operation of enterprises on the territory of the park, production buildings, warehouses and an elevator should be built. In addition, the project includes the creation of new communications, as well as transport infrastructure - railway and automobile access roads.
During the presentation at the end of April, the head of the Industrial Parks of Ukraine group of companies, Valery Kyrylko, reported that the initiators of the project are already preparing for the official registration of the industrial park. After the completion of this stage, it is planned to move directly to construction work.
The total amount of investment in the creation of Sapi Agro Park is estimated at UAH 796 million. The project financing involves distribution among several participants: participating companies must invest up to UAH 590 million, state support will amount to over UAH 100 million, the project initiator will contribute another UAH 80 million, and the management company will contribute UAH 20 million.
The initiators of the creation of the industrial park are Zerno+ LLC and Zerno Elevate LLC. According to the YouControl portal, the beneficiaries of Zerno+ are Estonian entrepreneurs Janus Letmets and Ivar Toming, who are also associated with Zerno Elevate.
The project implementation involves a phased launch. The start of work of the first enterprises within the industrial park is scheduled for early 2028, and the full completion of construction and commissioning of the facility is expected at the end of 2029. According to forecasts, the park will create up to 500 new jobs in the region.
