A new program to support farmers working in areas affected by the war is being launched in the Mykolaiv region. The total amount of aid will be 14 million hryvnias, and the funds will be distributed in the form of vouchers for the purchase of necessary resources.

The Ministry of Economy announced the launch of the program. The initiative is aimed at supporting farmers who continue or restore agricultural activities in communities that have suffered significant consequences of hostilities and mine danger.

Agricultural producers from six territorial communities of the region will be able to receive assistance. These are the Galitsynivska, Horokhivska, Zavodska, Snigurivska, Shevchenkivska and Shyrokivska communities. These are the territories included in the program to restore agricultural production.

The Ministry of Economy clarified that support is provided for individuals, sole proprietors, as well as legal entities engaged in the processing of officially registered agricultural land with an area of ​​​​from 3 to 300 hectares.

Special priority during the selection will be given to those farmers whose land plots were returned to use after official demining or clearing of territories from explosive objects. Thus, the program should contribute to the return to economic circulation of lands that have remained dangerous for a long time.

Applications will be submitted through the State Agrarian Register. The acceptance of documents will last from May 15 to June 14, 2026. After the selection is completed, program participants will be able to receive vouchers in the amount of from 2 to 6 thousand US dollars.

Farmers will be able to use the funds received to purchase the necessary agricultural resources that will help restore or support production activities in difficult conditions.

At the same time, the Ministry of Economy emphasized that agricultural producers who have already used voucher support from the Food and Agriculture Organization during 2024–2026 will not be able to participate in the new financing program.
