In April 2026, the largest sales volumes of new passenger cars in Ukraine were recorded in the capital and several large regions of the country. New cars were most actively purchased in Kyiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv and Lviv regions.

This was reported by Ukravtoprom. According to the association, these regional markets provided 64% of all sales of new passenger cars in Ukraine during April.

The largest number of new cars was purchased in Kyiv. During the month, 2,212 new passenger cars were registered in the capital. Thus, Kyiv traditionally retained the status of the largest automobile market in the country.

The second place in terms of sales volumes was taken by the Kyiv region, where 580 new cars were purchased in April. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, buyers registered 447 new cars, which allowed the region to enter the top three.

In Kharkiv region, 351 new passenger cars were purchased during the month, while in Lviv region - 335 units. Both regions were also included in the list of the largest new car markets in Ukraine.

Ukravtoprom analysts also identified the most popular models in the leading regions. In Kyiv, as well as in Dnipropetrovsk and Lviv regions, the compact crossover RENAULT Duster was in the greatest demand.

In Kyiv region, the most popular choice was TOYOTA RAV-4, which became the leader of the local new car market. At the same time, in Kharkiv region, buyers preferred HYUNDAI Tucson, which became the most popular model in the region.
