Since the beginning of 2024, the Ukrainian used car market has shown significant activity, in particular, during the first six months of the year, Ukrainians purchased more than 30,300 used cars up to five years old that were imported from abroad. This is reported by "Ukravtoprom".

In general, in the period from January to June 2024, 113,300 cars with mileage were registered in Ukraine, of which 27% are cars under five years old. This indicates a high demand for relatively new used cars on the Ukrainian market.

Among cars up to five years old, the largest share is gasoline models, which occupy 40% of the total volume. In second place in terms of popularity are electric cars, which make up 39% of the total number, and diesel cars have a 10% share. Hybrid cars occupy 7%, and cars with gas cylinder equipment (HBO) - 4%.

Among the most popular models of used cars up to five years old, electric cars and gasoline models prevail. The leader in terms of sales is the Tesla Model Y, with sales of 1,915 units. The next popular model was the Tesla Model 3, which was purchased 1,860 times. Third place is occupied by Mazda CX-5 with 1012 units.

Nissan Rogue (1,008 units), Hyundai Kona (983 units) and Volkswagen Tiguan (903 units) also entered the TOP-10. The Volkswagen Golf and Volkswagen ID.4 have 774 and 681 units respectively, while the Audi Q5 and Nissan Leaf round out the ranking with 618 and 600 units respectively.

These data emphasize the growing interest of Ukrainians in electric cars and maintain the popularity of classic gasoline models.
