Over the past week, there has been a significant increase in the volume of unloading wagons with grain in the ports of Greater Odessa. An average of 936 wagons are unloaded every day, which indicates the improvement of logistics operations in the region. Although 4,180 wagons with grain are currently heading to the ports, this is 50 units less than a week ago, the overall dynamics of unloading shows a positive trend.
According to data released by Valery Tkachev, deputy director of the department of transportation technology and commercial work of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia", the average daily rate of unloading increased by 181 units. This indicates an increase in the efficiency and activation of transport operations in the ports of Greater Odessa.
At the same time, the average daily load of wagons with grain in the direction of these ports is increasing. Now this indicator is 969 cars per day, which is 46 units more than last week. This indicates an improvement in the carrying capacity of the railway network and an increase in the level of preparation for the export of grain via sea routes.
In addition, the number of grain wagons accumulating for shipment to the port of Izmail has increased. Now 619 wagons are heading to this port, which is 211 units more than the previous week. The average daily unloading figure at the Port of Ismail also increased to 74 cars, a small but significant improvement of one car compared to last week.
These changes reflect a general increase in activity in the field of grain logistics, which is a positive signal for the agricultural and transport industries. The gradual recovery of grain transportation through Ukrainian ports demonstrates the stability of the logistics infrastructure in the difficult situation in the country.
Such changes have a significant impact on the general economic situation, as more efficient logistics operations contribute to uninterrupted exports and stabilization of the agricultural sector of Ukraine.
