Since the beginning of 2024, agricultural enterprises of Ukraine have attracted 86.1 billion hryvnias in the form of bank loans for development. Of these, 7,293 agricultural holdings received financing in the amount of over 37.4 billion hryvnias within the framework of the state program "5-7-9 Affordable Loans". This information was announced by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
The "5-7-9 Available Loans" program provides farmers with the opportunity to receive loans with preferential interest rates, which significantly contributes to the development of the agricultural sector. Enterprises from Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Odesa, Kirovohrad and Kharkiv regions received the most funds under this program.
In particular, in the Kyiv region, farmers received UAH 4.7 billion for 710 farms. Vinnytsia region took second place, attracting UAH 3.2 billion for 726 enterprises. Odesa region received UAH 3.1 billion for 680 farms, and Kirovohrad and Kharkiv regions received UAH 2.9 billion for 934 and 434 farms, respectively.
According to Minagro data, the total volume of financing under other credit programs also indicates the active development of the agricultural sector. Farmers from the Kyiv region received the largest amount of loans under various programs, where UAH 19.2 billion was allocated to 1,090 enterprises.
In Dnipropetrovsk region, farmers received UAH 6.1 billion for 823 enterprises, and Kirovohrad region attracted UAH 5.8 billion for 1,349 farms. Vinnytsia region received UAH 5.4 billion for 1,097 agricultural holdings, while Cherkasy region received UAH 5.3 billion for 461 enterprises.
Lviv and Odesa regions also showed significant results, receiving UAH 5 billion for 724 and 978 agricultural holdings, respectively. Ternopil region attracted UAH 4.8 billion for 426 enterprises. This indicates the activity of farmers in finding financing for the development of their farms and increasing productivity.
